Combing the next generation all-round hybrid camera with a versatile zoom, the Fujifilm X-S20 with XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens Kit packs everything needed for diverse content opportunities. The lightweight X-S20 body and XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens weigh just a hair over 600g, yet provide a versatile zoom range of 23mm to 69mm (full-frame equivalent), and the latest technology for impressive stills and video performance.
You can record anything from vlogs and travel videos to high-speed burst shooting, with up to 6.2K/30p internal video recording and impressive 20fps blackout-free continuous shooting in electronic shutter mode. Whether you capture beautiful family moments to cherish forever, or sports, action and adventures, the X-S20 with XC 15-45mm Lens from Fujifilm will impress any audience.
A combination of lens and body based stabilisation help to capture images and video in extremely low light, with the ability to handhold and achieve up to 7-stops of compensation to keep photos sharper and movies more stable.
For advanced colour grading opportunities and professional quality productions, the X-S20 supports RAW video over HDMI in both ProRes and BlackMagic depending on the external video recorder.
The X-S20 body has been extensively upgraded over the previous generation mirrorless X camera, with 2x quicker processing from the X-Processor 5, a higher resolution vari-angle LCD touchscreen, higher-capacity battery and numerous other features for content creators.
The ultra compact Fujifilm XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens included in this kit is the lightest X mount mirrorless zoom lens available. Despite its compact size, the lens provides a versatile full-frame equivalent range of 23-69mm, along with 3-stops of built-in optical image stabilisation.
Focusing is fast and quiet, with a variable zoom speed, which is ideal for recording movies and capturing photos of moving subjects. Fuji’s optical formula is composed of 10 elements in 9 groups, including three aspherical lenses and two ED lenses, which provides excellent resolution across the zoom range, complementing the X-S20 body perfectly.
The versatile focal range is well suited to anything from landscapes to portrait photography, as well as vlogging and selfies, and is even wide enough for capturing group shots. You can achieve a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.24x when you’re shooting as close as 13cm, which further extends the versatility of this zoom, enabling you to capture macro-style shots and beautiful close-up images.
Since being developed in-house the X-Trans sensor and image processor in the X-S20’s core have graced some of the most advanced Fujifilm mirrorless cameras such as the X-T5, which features with the same high-speed X-Processor 5.
X-Processor 5 provides twice the processing speed of X-Processor 4, which was used in the previous generation camera, with AI processing and reduced power consumption being just a couple of its advantages.
The 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor offers tried-end-tested high resolution results at fast readout speeds, which supports high-speed burst photography and professional video quality.
Fujifilm has extended the imaging capabilities of the X-S20 in order to provide powerful stills features for photographers. These include a wide ISO range of 160 –12,800 which is extendible to ISO 80 – ISO 51,200 for versatile capabilities in all sorts of lighting conditions.
A host of photo modes help you capture stills content for any audience, such as:
When you need fast burst continuous shooting to keep up with action, the X-S20 offers the option to shoot in either mechanical shutter or electronic shutter modes. This provides 8fps burst in mechanical shutter and 20fps completely blackout-free shooting in electronic shutter. This provides extremely responsive capabilities to capture every split second in the best quality available.
In a pinch you can even extend burst shooting to 30fps by using a 1.25x Crop, for when you simply have to capture the perfect moment during fast paced action sequences. The Fujifilm X-S20’s buffer will record up to 79 frames of compressed RAW images when bursting in full resolution at 20fps and 1000+ frames when using the mechanical shutter at 8fps.
The X-S20 uses an advanced Intelligent Hybrid AF (TTL contrast AF / TTL phase detection AF) with AI-driven subject detection and tracking. Fuji’s Face / Eye AF latest AF algorithm is extremely capable at tracking people, even while shooting in burst mode, or when your subject is continuously moving across the frame.
This enables you to accurately capture fast paced sports, wildlife and action, which is erratic or fast moving. Other subjects which are recognised include Animal / Bird / Automobile / Motorcycle & Bike / Airplane /Train.
Low light focusing is down to -7.0EV with phase-section AF and shooting with the XF 50mm f/1.0 lens, which provides unparalleled low light performance.
Shooting handheld requires dexterity from the user and the camera, which the X-S20 delivers in the form of a 5-axis in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) mechanism, which is able to reduce camera shake by up to 7-stops.
Digital Image Stabilisation is also available when recording movies, with IS MODE BOOST, which can be used for extremely unstable recording situations. This built-in stability opens new opportunities to shoot in dark environments and still come away with sharp images and smoother videos.
Video creators gain a formidable mirrorless camera, with a wealth of video options from full-sensor width 6.2K Open Gate recording with no crop, to high-speed Full HD 240p and 4:2:2 10-bit up to 360Mbps. When combined with the effective IBIS you can record vlogs and videos without the need for a gimbal in many situations and capture video which will thrill you and any audience.
The X-S20 supports every level of video creation with the option of recording to an external video recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V, in order to capture ProRes RAW or BlackMagic RAW over HDMI. This offers exceptional colour grading and highlight recovery during post production with the ultimate control over your movies.
A maximum 6.2K/30p (3:2) can be recorded in H.265 All-Intra 4:2:2 MOV 10bit, 360Mbps internally to the SD card and 6.2K/30p (3:2) or 5.2K/60p RAW to an external recorder.
Numerous other recording options are available to suit every situation with DCI4K and 4K at 60p H.265 All-Intra 4:2:2 10bit internal recording through to High speed FHD 240fps 4:2:2 10bit.

Fuji has included a bright 2.36 million dot OLED colour viewfinder, which provides a sharp, clear view of your subject. The rear also features a 3.0 inch 1.84 million dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD monitor, which is perfect for capturing difficulty shooting angles, selfies and for vlogging, proving useful particularly when working at waist level or in portrait orientation.
The electronic viewfinder provides completely blackout-free scenes even when bursting at the maximum frame rate.
The HEIF image format is supported, which captures 10-bit quality in files which are up to 30% smaller than JPEGs. This not only saves space but speeds up your workflow with more impressive results straight out of camera.
RAW images are captured in 14bit (RAF original format) at a maximum size of 6240 x 4160 pixels, (3:2) for the greatest flexibility when post-processing your images.
Fujifilm has continuously evolved from analog to digital over an 85 year history, and the X-S20 digital camera features 19 Film Simulation Modes including Nostalgic Neg.
